Intuition: Influence & Problem Solving

Influence

The influence we concern ourselves with involves how you or your people can become better influencers in any effort. This applies to such areas as leadership, management, teamwork, interpersonal relationships, organizational change, sales, customer service, networking, fund raising and personality assessment tools.

Problem Solving

The problem solving we concern ourselves with involves how you or your people can become better problem solvers in any effort. This applies to such areas as innovation, creativity, product development, reorganization, decision making, goal setting, planning, talent appraisal and R&D activities.

Cognitive

Cognitive pertains to mental, rational, scientific and logical processes. Reasoning plays a major role in some way. Cognitive approaches clearly state objectives, benefits and arguments. When influencing cognitively, it’s important that both messenger and receiver are consciously engaged and understand the message. Action upon a message evolves from acceptance or coercion after benefits and costs are offered and understood. Cognitively solving problems means using some form of the scientific method (hypothesis, controls, experimentation or research, conclusion, etc.) is used. Research and development (R&D) is a traditional example. Whether influencing or solving problems, some form of proof is expected and presented. See intuition for elaboration.

What's our approach?

We apply intuition to the two main branches of leadership: influence and problem solving. This allows an individual or group to supersede the barriers imposed by more traditional, main-stream and rational habits. Yet, our approach isn’t merely a substitute. It makes these habits more dynamic, flexible and vital. It allows us to identify your challenges and opportunities before they show up on any report or financial statement, to expand the range of options available to grow your business, and to alter perspectives so your people are more receptive and innovative. Our approach involves learning, interacting, hypothesizing, confirming, proposing and acting. We can do it for you, help you do it, teach you how, advise you, support you, provide the tools and be visible or invisible to your employees. Our deliverables take the form of coaching sessions, written assessments and strategy papers, specialized documental tools, workshops and speaking engagements.

Why we're unique?

We’re able to find solutions to seemingly intractable people problems. We accomplish this by orienting ourselves around two subjects: people and intuition. Yes, many say they’re focused on people. But, how much do they believe that and do their strategies and tactics reflect that belief? For instance, in making a particular message appealing to others, you can certainly alter the content and wording. The other option involves altering how people feel about the messenger; you don’t need to change the message. Whereas the first isn’t focused on people but the message, the second focuses on the audience and messenger through their more intuitive connections and relationships. It’s our appreciation for intuition’s role in our everyday decision making that gives practicality and reality to our unique solutions.
